SDV International Logistics, a mine of skills
Thanks to their experience and expertise, SDV International Logistic
teams, based in Lyon St Exupéry, brilliantly orchestrated the logistics and
transport of two drilling machines for a company who is market leader in
realising systems and products for mining excavation.
These machines, to be used in mines, are huge in size and weight.
Indeed, each machine is made up as follows:
- a drilling and soldering machine: 11,000 kg and
6.2mx2.08mx2.25m
- a box containing the swivel arm: 3,580 kg and
6.27mx0.93mx1.76m
- a box of accessories: 690 kg and 2.30mx1.20mx0.88m
Our agency, which masters all the links in the logistics chain perfectly,
took all the necessary steps to transport the two machines to Perth
(Australia). A suitable vehicle was thus made available for this shipment
and each of the machines were strapped onto a 20' pallet directly at the
shipper's address. The first was removed the 18th November of this year
and reached Perth the 23rd November. The second left Lyon the 25th
November to arrive at its destination the 30th.
